2009 Little People of America National Conference

from

SATURDAY JULY 4TH - FRIDAY JULY 10TH

Now, over 50 years later, all of Little People of America will be able to enjoy the excitement, culture and history that the Big Apple has to offer. Located in the heart of the City, the Brooklyn Marriott,at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge, provides a perfect venue for all the conference events and access to all of NYC.

Conference goers will come from all over the world to take part in Social, Athletic, and Medical workshops.

LPA which is an organization and support group for individuals and the families of those individuals who are born with dwarfism supports over 650,000 little people in the world who are usually no taller than 4'10" in height.  

There are over 300 different types of dwarfism which range from genetic conditions, to random gene mutations which occur spontaneously.  No other non-profit in the world provides more resources, support and information for people with dwarfism.
